Primitive Mammy Pin Keep Doll!

Just in time for Mother's Day!

My new MammyPie Pin Keep, pincushion, is made from my own pattern out of painted muslin! She's wearing a cotton print dress that has a print of baked goods all over! She has a muslin stained apron, red and white checked do-rag, and she's holding one of her famous Cherry Pies! That's where you keep the pins!

But you don't have to use this cute little doll as a pin cushion! She's great as a shelf sitter!

Her face is hand sculpted and hand painted and she has some really nice wooly black hair under that rag!

In her pocket is a wooden rolling pin that no baker could be without!

The doll is 8" tall! She's weighted to stand real nice as you poke your pins into the pie!

The Pie is 2 1/2" in diameter and is hand painted and made from painted muslin! The Rolling Pin is 1 1/2" long with red painted handles!

Primitive Seasons Church Dolls!

When I was young, I made some little dolls similar to these! It was so much fun recreating them!

These simple little Church Dolls are made from my own pattern out of stained muslin. They have a stained up dress, 2 are wearing cotton print dresses and 2 are wearing muslin dresses. Each have a stained up muslin bonnet and apron with a seasonal item in each pocket.

Spring doll has a Daisy made from painted muslin on a real stick stem. Summer doll has a painted muslin watermelon. Fall doll has a primmed up Pumpkin and Winter doll has a tall skinny painted muslin snowman.

The dolls are 6" tall and all have been heavily stained with my special coffee vanilla stain.
